The World Federation of Trade Unions, representing 95 million workers in 130 countries all over the globe, expresses its internationalist solidarity with the workers and the people of Sudan, who have been organizing mobilizations since December 19th 2018.

The workers have been protesting against the new price increases and shortages of bread, other basic alimentary commodities, fuels, while they have been facing the state violence that has led to the death of dozens of protesters.

We condemn the violent repression against the workers in Sudan and we support their demands for the improvement of their life conditions.
