This Wednesday the President of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Evo Morales, arrived in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to participate in the investiture for a new mandate of his Venezuelan counterpart, Nicolás Maduro, on January 10, before the Supreme Court of Justice ( TSJ) and to receive awards from universities in this South American country, which will give him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa for his solidarity with the country and for his leadership in Latin America.

“I am very sorry that the empire tries to confront us among Bolivians, Latin Americans and Venezuelans. However, we, the people have an obligation to defend our independence and sovereignty”, said the Bolivian President minutes after his arrival on Venezuelan soil, referring to the threats of the United States Government.

The Bolivian Head of State was received by the People’s Power Minister for Planning, Ricardo Menéndez and by the People’s Power Minister for the Communes, Blanca Eekhout at the Maiquetía International Airport.
