The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said on Saturday to agree with the advancement of parliamentary elections, so he requested that the decision currently evaluated by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC), be consulted with the people.
“I agree that the legislative power is relegitimate. I’m encouraged with that decision. We are going to parliamentary elections and let the people decide”, he said during the large mobilization to mark the celebration of the 20 years of the Bolivarian Revolution.
The Head of State urged the head of the ANC, Diosdado Cabello, to hold councils to consult with Venezuelans on the advance of the parliamentary elections.
On the other hand, said that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) has to be forged every day in the union, in loyalty, discipline and obedience, which are preparing for the civic-military exercises in tribute to the 200 years of Angostura Speech.
