The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, denounced the refusal of the government of Mauricio Macri, of the Argentine Republic, to grant the necessary permits for the flight of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria scheduled for this Friday.

The decision of the Argentine Executive, said the Venezuelan diplomat through his Twitter account @jaarreaza, constitutes a violation of the human rights of 90 nationals who were willing to return voluntarily to their country of origin.

The Venezuelan business manager in Argentina, Juan Valero, expressed the Venezuelan State’s concern that the measure violates the fundamental rights of the 90 people – including children, seniors and patients – who had planned to return to Venezuela, on the fourth day of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria from that nation.

Faced with this situation, he called for the reflection of the Argentine government in order to consider the humanitarian nature of this repatriation program, which was created in August 2018 by President Nicolás Maduro and through which more than 13 Thousands of compatriots  have returned to Venezuela.

As business manager and on behalf of the Venezuelan State, the official ratified the support of the national Executive to all these people, and guaranteed their return to the Bolivarian Republic.
