On Tuesday, the Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, condemned on behalf of the Venezuelan people and government, the human rights violations as well as the recent massacres of indigenous leaders and Colombian ex-combatants.
“The Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, supports the people of Colombia and their right to peace”, said the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, through his Twitter account @jaarreaza, in response to the statements of his counterpart, Carlos Holmes Trujillo.

In these statements, the Colombian Foreign Minister evidences the lack of knowledge and respect for international law and involves him in an interference position in the internal affairs of Venezuela, once again ignoring the legitimate and democratic mandate of President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
“The Government of Colombia reiterates strong support for the National Assembly of Venezuela and its deputies persecuted by the illegitimate and tyrannical regime of Maduro, while rejecting the advancement of elections of that legitimate Assembly”, said the Foreign Minister of Colombia, through his Twitter account @CarlosHolmesTru, referring to the close elections of the National Assembly that will be held next year within the framework of the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
