We have witnessed today a coup d’etat against the legitimately constituted and elected government of the Plurinational State of #Bolivia. The extreme right coup executers, the military and police forces and the OAS, promoted the political and democratic destabilization that today impose to the Bolivian people a bloodshed.
We call to actions to reject the coup d’etat, we stand in solidarity with President #Evo #Morales, we reject his persecution and call on the international community to preserve his life. Furthermore, we express our solidarity with the people of the country who are now facing the involve of imperialist in their own country, creating dangerous conditions for their future.
The World Federation of Democratic Youth strongly rejects the coup d’etat, and calls on the world’s democratic forces to stand in solidarity with the workers, Aymara, Quechua who face and resist the toughest onslaught in the fight for democracy, peace and the self-determination of peoples.
WFDY calls for solidarity actions with the Bolivian people wherever is possible, with mobilization outside of embassies on Tuesday, November 12. Under the slogan #PazYDemocraciaParaEIPuebIoBoliviano , #PeaceAndDemocracyForTheBolivianPeople , we reject the coup d’etat.
