The United States Department of Defense slanders about Venezuela to promote the reelection of Donald Trump and guarantee resources for his war machine while the people of Florida agonize due the pandemic, denounced this Friday the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza.
“They commit a crime against Venezuela and against their own country”, the foreign minister stressed on his Twitter account, @jaarreaza, rejecting the unfounded and biased accusations of drug trafficking against the Venezuelan State made this Friday by US Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

Minister Arreaza also rejected statements by White House National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien who said that Venezuela “is a narco-state led by a corrupt and illegitimate regime.”
“Trump is so worried about polls in Florida, that even when the United States is the largest buyer of narcotics and the main protector of Colombian drug production and routes, he lies about Venezuela again to distract attention from his lousy management of COVID-19. They just keep saying the same old story”, added the diplomat.
The United States has confirmed 3,169,611 cases of COVID-19 and 133,885 deaths from this disease so far, the highest numbers of infection and deaths worldwide.
