Big demonstrations of the class unions took place on Wednesday, March 17 in many cities of Greece. The Unions demanded measures for the protection of Health, protection of workers’ rights and also condemned the escalating state oppression, authoritarianism and police violence. Unions from all sectors, with the workers of Healthcare in the frontline, joined with self-employed associations and students’ unions in big protests. In Athens the demonstration reached the Parliament calling to “Staff for the Hospitals-Not Oppression”, “Police, Violence, Authoritarianism-This is Capitalism”.
