A soldier of the DPR People’s Militia was killed by the AFU sniper fire launched on a DPR forces’ position in the south Republic on Monday, May 3, the Directorate of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic reports. “The enemy opened sniper fire from a position located near the village of Vodyanoye towards the village of Kominternovo. We regret to inform you that a defender of our Republic was killed by the sniper fire. We express our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the fallen serviceman,” the statement reads. The violations facts have been promptly reported to the representatives of the Ukrainian side in the JCCC for timely measures to be taken against the violators of the ceasefire, and falsification of ceasefire violations records by the Ukrainian militants to be excluded.
