WFTU condolences message to CITU INDIA on the loss of comrade Ranjana Nirula

The World Federation of Trade Unions and the international class-oriented trade union movement mourn the death of comrade Ranjana Nirula who passed away two days ago in RML Hospital due to the  Covid-19 pandemic. Comrade Ranjana Nirula held various posts and served the working class of India as a Working Committee member and former Treasurer of CITU, All India Coordination Committee of ASHA Workers (CITU) and she was a very militant, enthusiastic and devoted trade unionist to the causes of the class struggles. We express our sincere condolences to Centre of Indian Trade Unions, colleagues, and relatives for their loss.  The WFTU and its 105 million workers from 133 countries of the 5 continents,  will continue its struggles for universal and free vaccination and healthcare against the Covid-19 pandemic.
