The Construction Workers’ Union of Athens held a protest at the Ministry of Labor, in Athens, on Monday, May 31st. The Construction Workers’ protested against the government’s bill that will abolish the 8hour and impose work all days of the week, abolishing the Sunday day off. During their protest the Construction Workers’ put cement in the entrance of the Ministry to show the conditions of their work. The police attacked the workers with batons and tear gas trying to break the protest.
