World Federation of Trade Unions
Trade unionists from several Balkan countries participated in the Virtual Balkan Trade Union Meeting organized by the PanHellenic Labor Federation of Bottled Beverages (POEEP) and the World Federation of Trade Unions. The militant trade unionists discussed about the workers’ situation in the Pandemic which exacerbated their problems and put new limits to the organized action and trade union rights. They stressed the need of strengthening the coordination among workers of the Balkans to put forward militant demands for the improvement of the public health system, protection of the workers inside and outside the workplaces, safe and free vaccines for all and against the plans of NATO in our region.
