An agreement on interaction, cooperation and information exchange between the specialized inter-agency bodies of the DPR and the LPR on the search for the persons missing as a result of the armed conflict in Donbass was signed in Lugansk on 18 August. According to a correspondent of the Official Website of the Donetsk People’s Republic, the relevant document was signed by the DPR Commissioner for Human Rights and Chairperson of the Inter-Agency Commission on the Search for Missing Persons, Search for Burial Sites of Bodies (remains) of the Deceased (dead) in the Armed Conflict Areas in Donbass, Daria Morozova, and the LPR First Deputy Foreign Minister and Head of the Inter-Agency Working Group on the Search for Burial Sites of the Ukrainian Aggression Victims, their Identification and Commemoration, Anna Soroka. “This step is very significant for us. We have been working on it for seven years, collecting information, establishing the location of burial sites and so on.
