On behalf of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU), we express our sincere condolences on the passing away of comrade Wagner Gomes, General Secretary of the Central de los Trabajadores y Trabajadoras of Brazil. Comrade Wagner Gomes, from the transport sector, who was the first President of the CTB, throughout his life served with commitment the militant trade union movement of his country. Faithful to the principles of internationalism, he also fought through the ranks of the WFTU for the interests of the world working class. We extend our deepest condolences to his comrades in the CTB and to his family.
