With a big rally in front of the Parliament on Wednesday, September 1st, the class unions denounced the proposed reforms in Social Security that privatize workers’ Healthcare and destroy the pension system, which is already deteriorated. The unions demanded the cancelation of all laws that promoted the privatization of Social Security and the destruction of the pension system demanding increases in pensions and all social benefits; the reintroduction of the 13th salary, the 13th and the 14th pension payment (Christmas and Easter bonuses); the reinstatement of all cuts that have taken place throughout the last decade.
