Communist Party, Turkey: »We condemn the dark attacks«

A twin bomb attack outside a soccer stadium in the Turkish city of İstanbul on December 10. The first and larger explosion took place about 10:30 less than two hours after a match had finished on Saturday evening. Officials gave no immediate details on the nature of the second explosion, which sounded like it came from the same area. The Communist Party, Turkey (KP) released a statement condemning the attack. HDP on the Ankara Bomb Attack against Peace Meeting

To the International Community: Today, on October 10, a bomb attacked took place at the rally in Ankara which was organized by democratic NGOs including KESK, DISK, TMMOB and TTB and which HDP had strongly supported. Emek Partisi: Bomb attack on Peace Demonstration

Today a ‘Peace Demonstration’ organised by four big trade unions in Ankara targeted by two bomb attacks. Two bombs went off within the masses converging on the demonstration square at 10 am this morning near Ankara Railway Station. According to government figures the death toll stands at 86 and 186 people were wounded. 9 of our Party members, including a member of our Central Committee are dead and 30 of our comrades are injured.
